Privacy Policy

Draft — pending legal review. Last updated October 6, 2026.

PsybrHealth is developing immersive mental health experiences for veterans, service members, military families and first responders. We are in development and are not currently providing clinical services. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have.

1. What the beta interest form collects

The beta interest form collects seven things only:

  • Full name
  • Email address
  • Community affiliation
  • Type of interest (participant, clinical professional or organization)
  • State of residence
  • Confirmation that you are 18 or older
  • Consent to receive communications

It does not ask for, and you should not include, any health or medical information.

2. Why we ask for your state

Clinical care and research are regulated state by state, including where clinicians are licensed. Knowing your state helps us plan where the beta may be available. It does not decide eligibility on its own.

3. Partner and contact forms

Partnership inquiries collect your name, email, organization, organization type and message. The contact form collects your name, email, topic and message. Please don't share personal health information about yourself or anyone you serve.

4. How we use your information

  • To contact you about the beta, its progress and next steps
  • To review whether an invitation may be a good fit (being on the list does not guarantee an invitation)
  • To respond to partnership and contact requests
  • To understand, in aggregate, how many people sign up — our site analytics record only which action happened (for example, "form submitted"), never what you typed

5. Who can see your information

Only signed-in PsybrHealth team members who have been given approved access can see form submissions. Access is controlled by assigned roles in our secured database.

6. Private consent and screening (separate process)

Health details never belong on the public interest form. If you are invited to take part, you create a private account and, only after signing a consent, can answer a short screening about general eligibility and safety (for example, whether you're currently in care, or have conditions such as seizures or strong motion sickness that affect XR use). We never ask you to describe traumatic events.

  • Screening answers are stored separately from the interest list.
  • Only team members with a clinician role can open them. General admin staff cannot.
  • Every time a clinician opens your screening, the view is recorded in an access log.
  • Messages in your portal are visible only to you and the clinical review team.
  • You can withdraw consent at any time in your portal. Your screening is then locked and no longer reviewed.

If the beta evaluates clinical outcomes as research, a separate research consent approved by an ethics review board will be requested before you take part.

7. If health details are shared by accident

If you include health information on a public form or in a message by mistake, tell us through our Contact page and we will delete it.

8. How your information is protected

Information is sent over an encrypted connection and stored in a secured database with row-level access rules. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information and limit who can reach it.

9. No selling or advertising

We do not sell your information or share it with advertisers. We use service providers that host our website and database, under their own security obligations.

10. The time-zone guide

What you type into the time-zone guide on the Beta page is sent to an AI service to generate an answer and is not saved by PsybrHealth. Please don't include health details there.

11. How long we keep information

We keep interest-list and partner information while the beta is being planned, or until you ask us to delete it. Screening information is kept only as long as needed for eligibility review, then deleted or locked, unless a separate research consent says otherwise.

12. Your choices

  • Ask to see, update or delete your information through our Contact page
  • Unsubscribe from emails using the link in any message
  • Withdraw screening consent at any time in your participant portal

13. Age requirement

Our forms and the beta are for adults 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from minors.

14. Not an emergency service

PsybrHealth is not an emergency or crisis service and messages are not monitored around the clock. Veterans Crisis Line: dial 988, press 1, or text 838255. In an emergency, call 911.

15. Changes and contact

We will update this policy as the program develops and change the date above when we do. Questions can be sent through our Contact page.
